“Her language does not contain, it carries; it does not hold
back, it makes possible.” -Hélène Cixous, The Laugh of the Medusa
Join Craftswoman House in the Interior Forest for a discussion about feminism and the future of the movement. In her 1975 manifesto The Laugh of the Medusa Hélène Cixous called for women to challenge patriarchal constraints by reclaiming their voices and the regenerative forces of their bodies. Now, over three decades later, how do we navigate as feminists in a world that is often deemed post-feminist?
Join in the conversation and share your thoughts in this open dialogue held on Mother’s Day in honor of all the women who nurture and support us as mothers and mentors.
